What inspires your writing?
What inspires your writing? The everyday events of ordinary (or not so ordinary) life? People? Emotions? Nature? Travel?
Whatever it is that's started you off on your writing journey, we'd be happy to see your polished work when our first submission window opens, with a view to including it in our collection here at Platform. Please make sure that you read the submission guidelines on the submit button on the contact page before sending us your work. We assume that by sending us your writing you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions that are accessible from the link on the home page.
We will be announcing the dates of the first submission window very soon so do check back here regularly and if you're not already, be sure to follow us on Twitter - our handle's platform4prose. Our first submission window will be for short stories of any genre that fit our editorial requirements. Again see submission guidelines for details.
You don't have to be signed up with us to submit but if you are successful and you wish to view your work here on the website ( or unsucessful and you want to see what type of work has been accepted, or not a writer at all but just wanting to read some good quality previously unpublished writing by up and coming authors) you will need to sign up and log in. Your work won't be viewable by any passers by - only people who have signed up to Platform will be able to see it.
So, if you've got a short story you think you might want to send in to us then we look forward to reading it...and your flash fiction and poetry at a later date.
